I love the TT, but I can't say I agree with your decision. Congrats on graduation!

My wife has owned 2 new audi's. They look great, they drive great, but repair/maintenance costs are ridiculous. I hope you enjoy it and have good luck.

Stating someone's own past experience isn't bashing, don't be so sensitive Nancy.

I did the (almost) exact opposite....A3 to Taco

Loved it...never gave me any problems..uh...except for 3 blown coil packs haha...warrantied, but those 2.0T's ate coil packs for lunch. The fit and finish just so totally blows Toyota outta the water that it's not really even fair to compare. But in the end...the Taco goes where the A3 could never go and that settled it.

Enjoy....but prepare to re-mortgage when the turbo goes.

Not bashing, just finding odd to announce to TACOMAworld that you got rid of your Taco for an Audi.

For me, it was the water pump. It was fixed under warranty, but I looked at what my local dealership charged Audi on the invoice, $1,600! I looked at that and decided to look at something else for her.

It was that and the fact that we were never able to get more than 15-18k out of tires. It drove me crazy. We tried all different kinds of tires with the same result. They were all evenly worn (no alignment issues). Several tire stores said it was very common for Audi's to wear them out fast (plus it was driven by my wife 90% of the time who drives like a grandma). Happy I moved on, but always look at them and admire how good they look.
