I've used that stuff before, wasn't impressed. It left white residu all over my black rims.

Of course its gonna leave residue on black wheels,, especially matte black. Why exactly were you not impressed?

I really dont think that it helps at all. Leaves a white haze on your wheels an they still get dirty.

 

This and wheel cleaners never worked for me. Maybe it's because I'm in Hawaii and the salt and crap here sucks, but i never noticed a difference between washes with and without it.

 

IMO, it shouldnt leave any residu regardless of what color your wheels are. That crap even leaves a very noticable haze on stock alloy wheels. Whats the point of cleaning your wheels if your just gonna spray crap all over them?

I would rather take the extra time and use Chemical Guys Wheel Guard. Looks better and lasts a lot longer.

Do they make the discs that go inside of the rims for the taco. They are supposed to protect from brake dust, my only concern would be lack of ventilation causing brakes to overheat.
