Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Be it a family member, or friend has your Taco inspired other people? My answer is yes! My dad is considering trading his 09 Duramax HD2500 for a V6 access cab! That would be awesome I think, he never uses the Duramax for heavy hauling/towing anymore and the Duramax only gets 13mpg on a good day. Share your stories and experiances!

A friend of mine put 265/75's on and was content with his truck
    Then I lifted mine

Now he's jelly and trying to lift his.
    +5 points.

We used to have a toyota crew at my old high school, 5 1st gen tacos and 3 2nd gens, all well maintained (mine was the only lifted+HIDs)
Now, there's a wannabe crew that's trying to be just like us now that we graduated...PMs on facebook about HIDs and crap.
    Annoying

    + 10 points
pretty much not the kind of story you were looking for, but a bump for this thread!

Another TW member was inspired enough by my truck that she said if she ever saw my truck in person she'd drop her g-string right then and there. Does that count? :notsure:

Oh and Cody ^ constantly masturbates to my build.

My dad has been wavering on a new truck the last few years...He likes the idea of a truck but he has been driving what ever my mom has recycled in favor of hew new car. He keeps saying "glad I dont have a truck with the gas prices being the way they are. Yet when I bought my 4cyl reg cab 4x4, it renewed his interest in a truck (he now wants a tacoma). I guess the selling point for him is that i constantly get 22 mpg, where the minivan he now drives gets 15-16. He swears up and down he is done with american cars because according to him they "suck and all the stupid stuff falls apart". Then I point out the longevity and the reliability of the tacoma and so far hes sold on the idea. Also considering hes looking into a hyundai sonata sedan which would be the same price as the tacoma he is looking into, a 4x4 AC 4cyl. He is a DIYer and wants versatility can always asks me to ride with him out to home depot to get materials. We will see what happens in a few months

My dad bought a 2010 Tacoma DC TRD OR Prerunner after driving my old 2007. My best friend got a 2007 Tacoma DC 4x4 after he drove mine and now my neighbor is getting a new one after he drove mine. My cousin got a 2010 DC TRD OR 4x4 after seeing and driving my 2010. Mine has become a test driver truck for all my friends and family who are considering one!

Sure as hell looks like it! I used to only see one other Speedway Blue Tacoma just down the street from me, but as of late, everyone and their mother's dog has a SWB in El Cajon! I've noticed a few more Tacomas popping up around my blocks as well, but then again, everyone buys them.

Ditto. And there's pictures to prove it.

I've got a friend who got a Speedway Blue and jacked it up with the same lift as I have with 33"s to boot. He also got the devil horns as well.

Pretty much the only thing that seperates his truck from mine is the bumper, choice in tires, colour and Sport vs OR model.

A guy at work has an '05, white like mine.
I caught him eyeballing my supercharged decal, then I put my lift/tires on shortly after. He stopped in my office to ask me all kinds of questions and I gave him advice on what would fit his budget.
Two weeks later his truck appeared with a lift! I never found out what he chose, since his work on this site is over now and he's gone, but I did give him this site so maybe he's a member now and I don't know it yet!
