    If it looks like a 2011 and says 2011 on the sticker, you were looking at a 2011... Not sure what the confusion is? :notsure:

    The 2012 has a slightly redesigned front end and you'd be able to tell it's different from the 2011. I have not seen a 2012 yet and I saw one thread where someone ordered one and had to wait to pick it up.

    I had seen some pics of the 2012s front end and i thought it looked similar to the 2011 IMO but obviously i haven't done enough research

    Just the basics
    I say test drive them both. My friend had a sport and after driving his I definitely prefer my OR. The sport is more firm and that isn't what you want off pavement.

    I've owned both, and the Sport was definitely stiffer. But something to remember is with a Sport you are getting 17" (or 18" with the Sport Upgrade now), so that alone will impact the ride quality when compared to a truck with 16" wheels.

    The less sidewall, the less cushion. :thumbsup:

    visit florida sometime, you could also visit somewhere without snow. why should i get 4x4 when i cant use it, except in the mud? also the reason i like the prerunner is... i only need the higher stance around here. no offense taken.

    Highly unlikely. TRAC and VSC are easy to implement because they simply utilize existing ABS equipment. A-TRAC requires an electric brake bump in lieu of the standard (cheaper) vacuum booster seen in other trim levels.

    Looks like the new backup camera has the green guide lines as well. Not that it really matters, but just noticed :cool:

    Yep! I personally don't find them necessary, but it's a nice addition.

    The larger 3.3" screen is nice, too.

    When used in conjunction with the side mirrors, never found the green lines necessary. Then again I have the Pop-N-Lock handle, which alter the camera angle slightly.

    I've had both as well and it was the opposite for me. My OR was much tighter than the Sport. The rear end always felt a bit spongy in the Sport.

    We'll see how my new Sport Upgrade feels when it gets here Oct. 12th!! :D

    I definitely plan on driving both and starting haggling when I get back from vacation.

    My brother has an 06 limited 4runner (so it has XREAS). I also drove a 10 sr5 4runner (so no XREAS). i picture the difference between sport and OR like these two differed. the sr5 literally made me sick with the soft suspension and body roll. the 06 had NONE of this. I would turn a corner and the sr5 would oscillate for 10 seconds righting itself.

    Are there any experienced test drivers here that have tried all 4 vehicles and can compare the experiences?
