Puhleeze edumakate me sinze Iz gotz offerz for tradez for it.

Kimber Ultra Carry II swap for an HK USP compact .40

Haven't actually fondled one yet but the mag release looks like the one on my P22 and the P22 isn't known for fast reloads.

Any opinions, pro's, con's, or what I should look for if I decide to meet this dood?

I can reload my H&K faster than I could my Glock and 1911. I would not trade a Kimber for a USP Compact unless you are getting cash in return with it.

I can reload everything in my gun cabinet before I can understand the OP's post.

Wierd... Round here the used HK's are selling for a ton. Only thing I can think of is that it's off the CA list of pistols for sale - but still.....

Well to give you an idea. I paid $850 for a new H&K P30 (typically cost more than a USP Compact,) and paid a little over $1000 for my Kimber. So I would not trade a Kimber for a USP Compact unless I was getting cash in return with the USP Compact.

So it is just CA people being crazy and not just me. I know it's a recession or whatever but DAMN, some guy wanted to do a straight up trade for his glock because he threw in a couple mags and had a 3.4# connector in it.

I would say the HK USP is the faster to reload. I've shot competition with mine for years and never seen anyone reload anything else faster.

Thanks for the ideas... I traded and got some cash in return. I've seen guys trading out the stock mag release for a larger one off a .45 so I might do that. Otherwise Im pretty excited about trying something new. 8.5 days to go before shes outta jail.
