I inspired (well I think) the most important person in my life that I look up to the most, my Dad. 59 year old man that has always been a Ford/Chevy kinda guy. Bought himself a new single cab 4 cylinder magnetic gray. Didn't even test drive it. Picked it out and drove it right out the same day. The whole family has been in shock since then. Best part is that now no one in the family has anymore smart ass remarks about our Toyotas!

Off topic but my dad has a Porsche Boxster S that we took up to the Blue Ridge Parkway in the Rock moutnins sometime around last October/November a few weeks before they shut it down. Woke up a 4am to be there at 6am ~60 degrees F top down the whole way up the parkway but around 10 a newer Sonata came creeping up and paced us a good 5 miles then passed us, with my dad driving, which was a slap in the face for him. So we got on it to pass him, he sped up and didn't let us pass then continued going faster and harder into the turns. We kept up with him for a while then he pulled out to eat a picnic with the wife at the top, it was their 50 something aniversey. We kept going down ate lunch and started back up, then he got back behind us my dad tried as hard as he could to leave the sonata in our dust but the damn thing just stayed with us the entire way. Great cars from what I've seen.

My ex's dad now wants a Taco. A few people have chosen to go with bigger wheels and tires instead of a lift because of the way it sits.

Pretty sure I'm the only taco at my school except for one special ed teacher who has a single cab 1st gen with an arb bumper. Most people think my trucks "little" and rag on it. But fuck 'em it beats the hell out of some single cab ram with custom 4x1.5 foot "hemi" emblems and a shit ton of ram memorabilia with shiny ass rims..got shit from him too but he shut up pretty quick when I asked how much he's put into repair bills. Other than that a few walkin counselors have said it's their dream truck and a kid the other day yelled "your truck is boss"

Yea he had the turbo. Dude was cool as shit to we talked at the top for 10 minutes or so befor we left, he was vietnam vet served with the rangers. I could have listened to him all day.

On Topic. My bio teacher in high school had a mid-90's AC 5-speed v6 that inspired me to buy one. So I was inspired by him.

I have 3 or 4 people at work that constantly drool. There are also several Nissan pickup owners that lament choosing the lower priced truck instead of getting what they wanted.
