    Justin, try taping just a tiny bit of tin foil over the end of the broken part of the antenna, assuming its not broken at the base. The redneck electrician in me says you should get SOME reception back :) If it works you should make a ball out of tin foil, it would be the best mod ever lol

    Here's how to get a ghetto redneck antenna.

    10G wire, solder and a M-whatever bolt fits in your antenna slot.

    Solder wire to bolt, screw in, stuff wire in fender.
    It'll work.

    or for a cleaner look..use one of those bolts that are used on bicycle brakes(to adjust tension on cables)..forgot name of them but they are hollow inside..
