I have an 07 taco and bought my wife a 2005 A4 Quatro, this is the worst thing I have ever done. I hope yours holds up better than mine cause ive had nothing but problems with mine.

Funny thread, cause I just traded in my 08 A4 Avant on my new 2011 Taco on Saturday. Ive had two Audis and liked them a lot, but reliability at 70+ k miles is iffy, and I've always wanted a truck. Love the taco so far!

Here is a pic of my ex-audi.

Got a neighbor who works in engineering with the Georgetown KY Toyota plant - he bought an Audi A6, worked with a lady who had a TT - both said they've had repair issues already and they are very expensive but great when not being fixed. Good luck, your's may run like a sewing machine.

Nice car. Hope you didn't tie yourself into a big/long payment for it right out of school.

    Enjoy it!

I went the other way sold my two S4's for the 11 Tacoma. Had a 2000 sedan sold in January, and a 2001.5 stage 3 minus Avant just sold last week. So many things I miss, but the right decision for what I needed. Leather and power seats being the first thing I miss. Auto windows up and down (all windows) the other.

Audi's are Very reliable, just a lot more expensive for maintenance over Toyota's, both parts and labor.

I bought my wife an Audi A4 Quatro. She loves the car. It's an older 2001 with the 1.8 turbo with a tuner chip. Her car will haul ass, no question about it. We have had no issues with it at all, and to be honest I enjoy driving it when I get the chance.

Especially after just 14 posts, OP has more posts in this thread than any other on a taco. Good Luck, we'll miss you...

haha sorry- like I said, only visited this site to mod the truck and that never rrequired posts since my questions were always asked by other members =P question though and sorry for keeping this thread so active, but members keep saying how unreliable Audi's are, but why are their reliability rankings so high (other than jd)? if everyone acts as though it was built by Kia?

Just wondering... hopefully chris4x4 (or is it 4x4chris) has answers for me... he is an oracle of knowledge lol

It's a beautiful car, congrats! Did you get a chance to look at Lexus? I'm wondering if you would be impressed by the ISF. I almost got one two days ago.

I test drove the 2008 lexus is250 (i believe). I really liked it, but I had my eyes set on a 2 door and I think the only 2 door car lexus makes is a sc450(?) and I wasn't interested in a v8 nor was it in the price range I wanted =P
