I agree. I was one of the first one's to chime in as an actual (previous) Audi owner (not one that just assumes they are bad because of what I have "Heard"). Audi reliability is not bad and is actually getting better. I did suggest that they are expensive to repair, which is true.. Personally, I don't think any other manufacturer has "fit and finish" figured out as much as Audi, plus they are very fun to drive.

I bet if you drove the 350 you might have thought different. 100hp difference than the 250. ;)

The SC is a front wheel drive, the IS family is rear.

I do like the look of your car. Very sleek looking. Must be a blast to drive! :) Please post more pics? Would love to see the interior!

i hate vw's and firmly believe them to be the worst cars on the road. i do thing audi has designed them correctly though meaning they look nice.

i'm not trying to bring you down it is a nice car but i worked at a vw dealer for like 15 years and saw a lot of what they had to offer and it all sucks balls.

i personally like bmw next in line would be benz. for a german car i have leased 3 new beemers and never a problem they just do everything right.

good luck to you though bud

As a daily driver I'd say you made the wrong choice. The TT would be a good 'fun' car on the side, if you were keeping the Tacoma. You, my friend, just traded function for form, good luck with the new ride!

Girlyman. Not a smart buy in my opinion. I sense you'll get bored of this after a few tickets, guys checking you out(expecting you to be a girl). etc. But we all go through stages where we want to go fast. Enjoy it. An M3 would have been my choice though if i was switching from a nice tacoma to a nice daily driven car thats fast. possibly even an sti for that matter :p. To bad everyones opinions aren't the same as mine.

    Have fun!

BMW have problems too. I heard they were worse than Audi. My business partner has both. He favors the Audi. I'm trying to get him a Tacoma for our business. :D

SC is not a front driver.... The only Lexus that is front drive is the ES (based off the Camry, and the RX Based off the Highlander) The original SC 300 (had the 3.0 straight 6cyl used in the Supra's and IS300's) or SC 400 (V8) were very similiar to the Toyota Supra in the 90's. Then the SC got a V8 + a Convertable top and was called an SC 430... Just a little trivia...

To the OP as long as you like the car then good for you... Who really cares if it wasn't a good decision or not it doesn't matter. It not you making the payment so why do people care so much...

Yeah i just think bmw's look better. For fun/masculinity in a car i'd probably go with sti(i only like the 2004-05 bodystyles). I was stuck between a tacoma or an sti and i chose the tacoma because it was cheaper and I can do more with it.

I agree, where i live girls drool over guys in trucks. I guess i'm a little country though.

All the new lexus's list V6 configurations for the 6 cylinder models. With a straight six, I might be interested.

    Nice choice on car....

I am currently a Service Advisor at a Audi Dealer...

3.2 is much better choice then 2.0 Turbo.... less issues....

You will have your Check Engine Lights every so often.... usually nothing big.... Car is covered 4/50 unless its a Certified Pre-Owned then you get a longer warranty...

Audi says Oil changes every 10K miles.... of course change the oil more often, and use Full Synthtetic....

Also do Top End cleanings on that motor.... they tend to develop Carbon buildup in the intake tracks and on the back of the valves..... and typical Fuel Injection Services will not take care of that since the injectors now spray right into the cylinder instead of the intake ports....

If you can afford to..... develop a relationship with your local Audi dealer.... the Service Manager's have great leeway in offering help with repairs after the warranty expires..... but only if you are a loyal Audi/Service customer....

If you have any questions..... feel free to email me...

I am not here often.... and also looking to sell my Taco.... ( just not my thing.... but great truck)

    Nice car...You'll love it.

To the uneducated, Taco's are the apex of automotive nirvana and VW/Audi is garbage because somebody read a Consumer Reports once.

    Retards.
