i would probably confront them and say looky here mister you're not fooling anyone, obviously it was in a bad enough accident to replace the grille, and definitely the front bumper if the grille was affected. . and when that happens usually the fenders and hood get messed up too .. then lowball the shit out of him :D

In regards to mods not adding to the value, I agree that mods really dont add to the value of a vehicle and you cant expect to get more when sellling, BUT if you find a truck with mods you really want already installed and the price is comparable to a truck with out any mods, then they do add value in that you won't be shelling out cash for those mods as they are already there. Thus added value for you.

Reluctantly, I probably will too. I find it hard to believe the 2nd owner would give up such a nice truck unless there was some serious issues with it. I may try and negotiate a extended warranty with them for a LONG time, but idk yet, probably will stray away from it, unfortunately.

i would point out what you know about, tell them you want a nice warrenty with it because you know the condition it used to be, and know its had damage and second owner gave it up after 4 months bc it has some issue thats not immediatly noticeable, but was bad enough to get rid of it....second though i would just keep looking, unless you can get them to pay you to take it :p

Yea its driving me nuts. I can't touch a tacoma around me with those optiosn for that price. Albeit those options are mods. Just really skeptical about the guy only owning it ffor 4 months. If they can get me like a 3-5 year warranty I MAY be a buyer. Probably not tho...

Let me know if anybody know of 2005-2007 DC TRD 4WD less than 125k miles for sale...

weigh out your pros and cons, how much are the mods going to cost you, vs any issue that might come up with that one. see if the dealer is willing to work in a nice warrenty and or price drop, if they dont all you have to do is keep looking....patience grasshopper

LOL I hear ya. Ive been looking for probably two months now and deer season is right around the corner so my patience is wearing thin. But, nonetheless, I'll see what they can do for me and go from there.
