So I want some exhaust for a few more horses and a great sound. I really like the look and sound of the flowmaster dual system. Anybody running this system on a 4 door 2nd Gen? On the website it says it wont fit standard or xrunner models.

Flowmasters will make you loose a couple Hp. Search around the site, and see what gives a gain, and listen to some sound clips people have posted.

I have the flowmaster system and while it sounds good it definately loses hp. I listened to some clips of the aeroturbine 2525 and really like the sound. I have one in my closet now waiting to go on with the pipe chopped behind the axle.

I have the exact system you are talking about, I have a SR5 BCSB 4x4. The flowmaster system sounds great, but i didnt notice much performance gain. This is what it sounds like (i made this once i did the install)

I chose the TRD exhaust, for the sound. Dynomax had the largest gains on the 1GR engine, at almost 8 hp.

I have the flowmaster american thunder on my 2005 Taco, V6, 4.0L, manual transmission, TRD Sport Edition Double Cab (4 doors). It sounds good, I like it cuz it's not too loud like the Banks!

I don't have an exhaust but I will give my vote for the TRD exhaust. The stock exhaust is already very efficient. The TRD is designed for the 4.0 motor exclusively. The stock exhaust is hard to improve on and I won't buy an exhaust just for sound. I mean it's a v6....and if I spend money it has to improve the truck. I think the TRD exhaust does just that. Especially with a supercharger.

What is the TRD exhaust costing?

i have a flowmaster 40 deltaflow, dont really like the sound, drones, and to me, sounds ricey mid rpm. actually it drones most at cruising speed, 14-1600rpm but is pretty quiet on the highway.

id suggest the aero turbine 2525 or a wicked flow
