Yah, that'll raise my blood pressure. We used to have an "employee recognition" program too. $25.00 gift card to Home Depot. That's been cancelled. I also heard that Bank of America, who also got a ton of buyout money, spent millions on some sort of "hospitality tent" in Tampa last week at the Super Bowl. Guys like you and I are losing jobs, homes, etc and this crap is still going on.

I had thought Wells Fargo had been one of the more responsible lenders. Shows what I know, and Ive been banking with them since the 1980's. Fortunately my mortgage is through Countrywide. Oh wait a minute, they suck too.

These places are spending their bankers-hours jobs sitting at a desk writing papers to kick people out of their houses, denying people loans for much needed things...and spending our money on "perks". And unless someone like CNN or MSNBC writes them up, they get away with it. Makes me sick.
