    Im trying to remember. I think the rule of thumb on winches is doubler your truck weight. Or so I remember, but I could be wrong. But not a bad choice at all.

    the "handle" that releases the clutch so the spool can freewheel.

    Silver answered -- may want to look into that as it's gotten me out of a jam once or twice... :D

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    in the newest 4WP offroad magazine, they had a mile marker 8k AND a 2k atv winch for $449....or the smittybuilt 8k for like $350 or something ridiculous
