:eek:Hey there guys, currently have a 05 tacoma I'm looking at thats already modded, but if that doesn't go through I'll probably buy a stock one. Having said that, I have "big" plans for it if i buy stock. Listed Below is what I intend to do, just want a general consensus on the cost, or what you guys have paid for? i know, i know, I can use the "search" feature, but wanna hear real feedback from ya'll. :D

    Here it goes:

3 in. lift (I know, i know, theres probably a hundred different ways of doing this, I'm not looking to offroad much, but do want a quality 3 inch lift, even if itll cost a little more, Ive heard toytec, bilsteins, aal, tossed around, is there a general consensus on the best type of lift for this)

HID's with HALO Headlights ( The ones that have the illuminated circle around the light)

Exhaust (Obviously theres a million of these, but whats an average figure i can expect to spend)

    CAI (K/N, AFE)

    Satosh grill (Defintiely a must)

    Wet Okole

AND I am positive there will be more, but for now, this is where I am going to start (start saving that is )

Thank you, I was hoping for around 2, but slowly by slowly, I suppose I can afford it. Obviously, theres ten different ways of doing the a lift, but whats an average figure just lift kit wise I can expect to spend.

Lifts are anywhere from $300-$3000... If you want a good lift, 5100s all around and an AAL will cost you like 5-600 (maybe less)

Hmm Im somewhat familar wit the 5100s and the aal as I have read about them on here. $600 aint bad at all, and that will give me the full 3 inches? Ive heard some mention to buy new UCA's too. NOT trying to turn this into another lift forum, but just wanna get a general idea.

I personally would go this route (as it is the route I am taking as well, pretty close anyway) OME lift... Full 3" New UCAs are recommended, but unless you can't get the alignment back close to spec, they are not required.

Stock we have some positive rake, so lifting 3" up front and ~2" in the rear should put you at level

Defintiely, thats one expensive lift! How do you like that CAI you have, any noticeable "gains" (and I use that term loosely) in regards to power or mpg?

yea, but with wheels and tires it wasn't too bad when I did the pricing separate. As far as the intake it seemed to "free" up the throttle response. As far as any noticeable power gains I didn't' notice.
