I've decided I hate cardio, running kicks my ass. Anyone have tips on boosting cardio quick? Running so I can pass the physical portion of the Department of Corrections test and I get gassed super quick

swimming laps is good, since its a sink or swim kinda senerio. Elliptical is low impact. I guess it depends on what your body type is

What's the test include? Running? If so you've got to run......just go slow until its easier! Circuits with weights or bodyweight without rest will make you hate life and your cardio will be solid! If you've got to run for the test, mix 1-2min jog with 10-20 bodyweight exercises for 1-2 miles! You'll be a machine in 4-6 weeks!

When I started running I just went nice and slow and if you can still have a conversation that's the pace you want until your better! I mixed jogging for 2min with 20 Pushups/situps for a mile and when you run a mile without the extra work it will be cake!

The push ups are 12 in a minute and 24 sit ups in a minute which is easy. I've been jogging a lot lately, I've also switched my diet from tons of fast food, pizza ect to mostly fruits and veggies which has made a big difference in how I feel daily

We only eat chicken as far as meat is concerned since my brother can't eat red meat and I don't like pork. Brown rice is something to work on though
