Is the ECU for an 07 Tacoma located behind the glove box still? I need to take it out to send it the JET for the ECU performance upgrade I bought. Anyone know anything about that Product and if I will see results? Thanks guys.

The Jet reprogramming will do nothing for your truck. Get your money back.

Dito... Your going to lose money, and possibly damage the ECU.

If you looking for tuning, look at the APR X-1, the Map ECU 2, or the URD MAF cal for a real basic tuning unit.

Yeah the controller is a bit expensive. So i am about to order the MAF CAL from urdusa.com, anyone familier with what you do with it? Im kind of new to the engine tuning upgrading. I normally stick to headers, exhaust and intake.

well i know its got an adapter that you can plug into your laptop. But id be careful with that. if your not careful, you can really mess up your engine. but they give good instructions on how you configure it and everything.

The saying "You get what you pay for" is dead on with the X-1. While it is a bit pricey, it will do EVERYTHING, and was designed specifically for the 1GRFE motor/ECU.

It is one the best bang for your buck when it comes to HP gains. Only way to gain more power is by forced induction.

And for those that saw my 3rd gear pull, and notice my 1/4 mile times in my sig. Couldn't have done that without the X-1.

URD has all kinds of real tuning options for your Toyota truck.

We know these trucks and know the tuning devices well. No one will be better at the tech support you need.

I am sure that Toyota dealer can sell you an X-1, but are they ready to help you will any installation or other issues you may have? Can they walk you through turning on the launch control, or give you a custom map that you can load with a plug in USB drive?

Yes, we have tuning options for the 2TR-FE engine. I was driving around in one last night working on a special project, a URD SUPERCHARGER KIT!!!

For starters we have the URD MAF Sensor Calibrator with maps that we can preload for the stock intake or the K&N Series 63 intake.

We also have the MAP-ECU2 that is loaded with more features and gives you full timing control.

If any of you need any help with getting more out of your truck with a good tune give me a call 877-8URDUSA x3 and we can go over the different options and help you decide which is best for you and your truck.

Stay way from those "sticker tuners"!
