fluid film is a nonsolvent based rust treatment. i'm using it as a simple attempt to slow down the rust growing on my undercarriage.

I coat my frame every fall with the Big Blaster cans of WD-40. So far only minor rust spots. How much does that cost a gallon?

those of you using fluid film as an undercoating...are you still pressure underwashing during the winter? or leave it alone until the spring?

    None yet! It's new!
Fluid film is good stuff, but it's not permanent by a long shot. It will come off... it's like spray grease and I'd think that it attracts dirt and crap just like grease does. It's good to use on trailer parts that get submerged when you launch a boat - stuff like that. Not sure how it would work as an undercoatiing so please let us know how it holds up....
