Rear Long travel build

Ok so I finally found someone to do my fabrication and planning on pulling the trigger on rear long travel on my 2001 tacoma. After reading through piles of threads I think this is the route I want to go. Let me know your thoughts or if there are better routes to go. What else will we need. I have a 4x4 with 2.5 lift in front so I also want it to sit level or one inch low in the back.

TC 12 shackles over the frame.
Fox 2.5 16" bypasses probably just doubles
- shocks behind the axle .
I already have fox airbumps.

Lets hear thoughts on the parts list.

 

ok so after reading the TLT articles sounds like I should run a 10" shackle.

 

I'd go with All-Pro 50T pack if you want a level look. 12" Shackle seems to be the way to go as well.

 

I guess I was under the impression that a 50t pack with 12" shackles would be higher than I was looking for.

 

Matt (nelson18matt) is running the F67 with 12" Shackles and his rear end sags pretty low.

Shackle pivot points (on the frame) don't change doesn't really matter what shackle size you run, so if you find it to high you could always trade someone or buy different shackles. Plus the 50T comes with a warranty as well.

Also, the distance eye-to-eye on the 50T & F67 are the same so if you feel you want to switch out easily.

any idea how much higher the 50T pack is suppose sit over the F67?

Not sure if you're a member on TTORA, but you could PM this guy over there, he switched from the F67 to the 50T

Where about in Michigan are you located?!

 

Im in south western michigan. Pretty much directly across the lake from Chicago. Where are you in Canada? Was at Silver Lake last weekend and always wish there were more Tacomas. I will get a build thread going soon.

 

Okay very nice, just got back from Chicago this past weekend. Maybe have to take a trip down there sometime!

I'm up in Northwestern Ontario, about 9-10hrs from Chicago. Just Google Mapped Silver Lake and it says if I take the Ferry across the lake it's only another hour or so away, might have to do that next time I drive down there!
