    I think you're blacks are way too black... losing definition (good example of this is pic #28). Either bring down your contrast, or maybe adjust with Curves

    hey guys got a quick question hop you all can help out.

    so i just got a mac and I'm new to the mac world and I'm looking at photo software, and well iphoto is cool i guess but looking for something a little more is aperture worth it? or are there better programs out there? any help would be awesome thanks guys

    Depends what kind of editing you need to do. I haven't used Aperture but from what I hear, it's pretty good. You could go with (in order of cost, least to most): GIMP, Photoshop Elements, Light Room or Photoshop CS. GIMP is free. Everything else costs money.

    I use Light Room 3 for basic editing. If I'm heading in a more complicated direction, it's to Photoshop CS.

    All of of these apps run on mac OSX.

    ya i saw that, how long does that last for? or is it a forever thing just with out some features?

    cuz the actual program is a pretty penny but looks worth it for sure

    I just picked up a Canon 50mm f1.8 today. I took a few pics around my house of my dog, so far its pretty sweet, I'll post pics when I get them loaded.

    Still trying to decide if I should upgrade my kit lens for my trip to Bavaria.

    looks good, the only thing I would change is tilt the camera 90* and make the pano nice and fat

    here is my most recent Pano (apparently its to big to upload to flickr lol)
