Yo....I live near eglin...but can't get on base.

 

You don't have to be able to get on base to ride on Eglin property. Go to Jackson Guard in Niceville and get a recreational permit. They require one for everyone in the vehicle over the age of 16 but they are only like $12 for a year and they give you a 3 ft wide map listing all the trails and camping spots available to permit holders between pensacola and Niceville.

 

Most of these photos are on trails that run west off of highway 87 south between Milton and Navarre.

It was really dry here as well until the tropical storm came through. A lot of people go crazy about the storms but they provide a great opportunity for wheeling.

I've only been once or twice and don't have too much experience

 

We aren't amazingly experienced....We just really enjoy the ride more than anything. We RARELY do anything technical.

 

We usually go once or twice a month on a Saturday...
