    Looks pretty good to me. The settings look right. I like to make the weld just a bit wider than that but that should work fine.

    Awesome job for the first time though!

    It allows the axle more movement while using shorter shocks. The downside is that the shock has less leverage on the axle and has to work harder to dampen the suspension. It affects the valving you'd ideally run on the shocks.

    welllllllllll. the weld on the slider is rough to the frame why did you weld down hill. looks like you need to do surface prep before you weld welds will look cleaner and less likely to trap foreign debris in it and making the weld weak. but not bad for your first time
