I should be picking up my 2011 tomorrow if it gets delivered to the dealership today, if not I'll pick it up next Friday. I'm so glad that they were able to locate one almost exactly how it wanted. I got a good deal on the 2011 (or at least I think I did, $20,400 new/4 miles on it with factory hitch, floor mats, bed mat, and sliding window package.)

I don't understand the jabs at 2011 owners, seems a bit childish and petty. The front end on the 2012 especially as shown in this photo looks ok front and center but how they merged the fenders/flares to the bumper looks horrible. Grats to those that get the 2012, but I'm happy I found a 2011.

I went to go look at 2 of em today. Black & magnetic grey. I don't think the pics do em justice. They look pretty good in person to me. Both were SR5 Double cab prerunners. Nobody in San Antonio has a 4x4 or TRD on the lot yet, just base or SR5. The interior is definitly very nice. The carpet is what appears to be a dark smoke, one I saw had no mats. I did see that the 2012s don't have hooks anymore for mats. They are snaps that you turn to hold the mats in place. The rear leafs looked to only be 3 on each side so there may or may not be a TSB for em. I definitly did not like the price though. $30k for black SR5 with upgraded 16" wheels ( not great by any means ) but it did come with $1900 entune, navigation & jbl system. The SR5 grey was $27,400 without any upgrades on it. I looked at it for a good 15mins or so checking out the specs. I like it but at this point I'm still between a 2011 or 2012.

Congrats on your truck. But, you understand the jabs of those who are disgusted with
2012, but don't understand when those that like the changes jab back? If the haters weren't acting like teenage drama princess, I wouldnt say anything, but to say it looks like ass biscuit? really?

Agreed, the front end is jacked up

If you squint the 2012 really does look like a storm trooper!!!!!! I like the new interior but the outside front of the 2012's just seems ugly to me.

    glad i got my 2011

I'm sure God is happy for you. I'm glad I waited for the 2012. They fixed the things I didn't like about 2005-11.

To ne the headlights of the 05-11's were always ugly and didn't fit the trunk lines. They looked better with some eyelids.

Yeah I would think it would be as easy as that. If you could get your hands on the body parts to do it. And since you'd be doing a full tear sown and build up getting those tabs shouldn't be a problem. I wouldn't do it though, don't wana beat the dead horse but to me the front end of the 12s doesn't flow with the rest of the truck. Don't hate it nor do I love it. Only reason I would get the 12 would be for the interorir changes and even still I don't like the overall interior. Call it biased if you want since I have a 10 but that's my opinion

Now do BHLM and it'll really look like a Stormtrooper!

The fender line mismatch is not an issue with aftermarket bumpers. :p

I talked to another dealer about the all-weather flooring.

They said that the all-weather flooring replaces the carpet (not a layer over it) at the factory. Also, it's only available on TRD Off Road, so now another dilemma for me. I wanted it on TRD Sport.

It was only a $50 option on invoice.

For a TRD Off Road 4x4 w/tow package and flooring I had the following quote:
    MSRP: 32725
    Invoice: 30889
    My Price: 31000

It was a DC/SB/Prerunner I'm not a fan of white, but I'll be honest with you guys, this truck does look good in white. It actually looks better in person than in pictures.. Sorry I didn't take more pics, but I was busy checkin out the truck! I can't wait to get my truck! Supposedly in 2 weeks!
