Thanks sean! Are you running spacers with your wheels? If so what size?

Yup, spidertrax 1.75 I believe. They work great with very little rubbing

Nice Im running spidertrax 1.1/4. The only rubbing I have is the lower well. But I can trim that!

I think that there are also too many outside variables on tire use that it can easily affect lifespan.

    • Size of truck - reg. cab, access cab., DC, I -4 vs. V-6
    • How you drive - accelerate, corner, and brake
    • road usage off road vs. pavement(sean knows about this:p)
    • Maintenance - proper inflation, rotation, and wear
So I think everyone can find a tire that will last the longest for them. Just so happens the opinion on here is weighted toward the Duratrac's right now.

Are you talking behind the dash or just some of the cab lighting? I got a full set of bulbs from superbrightleds. com for all of the cab lights.

The 1.25's are fine. That is what I have. You just need to trim the ends off of plastic fenders and when you get a front bumper all rubbing issues are solved. Well except for your hand usage. :D

How did you end up with Load Range D on a 16" rim? I got E and that was the only range available at the time in 16". Truck looks good man!

I am thinking you keep meaning to say Load Range E right? What did you get E or D?

Stop drinking and typing and leave that to us pros! :drunk:

Yeah spent a wad to have my truck detailed while I was away on a trip and it still doesn't look that much better. Too much off-roading and pinstripes for me now. :mudding:

I will be around this weekend if you want to get some of it done. I am not that great yet but could use the practice on someone else's truck. ;)

Lol How did you know? I been drinking beers and sitting outside staring at my tires for a few hours. lol

Im sure he said D. He said when Duratracs first came out they made Load D for 285 75 16 but then stopped making them short after. It dont say on the receipt and I tore the stickers on the wheels off. Either way, E or D I think its fine. My MT's were C and never blew out! I do notice alot stiffer ride though.

I am drinking at the computer. It says on the tire itself near the rim. Look in the morning or stumble around and use a flashlight. Aren't you in Littleton? You shouldn't drink alone although I am in no condition to drive. I went straight from working til 8pm into drinking. Love it.
