Oh I see what you mean. I was confused for a sec. That makes a lot of sense. I'll try that. How many photos was that you had in that one?

I think the grass may be a little too bright, I really didn't edit the photos much when I made the panorama I just used what came out of the camera

    I just got a Canon 60d.
    a speedlite 43EXII
my lenses as of now: 18-135 with IS, and a 55-120 with IS. both canon
    oh, and a manfrotto tripod

but anyways, heres a picture i took with my mom's 30d (she upgraded to a 5d) before i got mine (i still havent had time to play with it yet. i am going to Bristol Rhythm and Roots this weekend and will have more to post :D

ps: this pic was edited a very limited amount with I-photo.....I got light room with at the same time as the 60D

oh, by the way, this being the photography thread, yall may be able to help me with a problem. I was on a NYC trip a few years ago with my mother and she dropped her 30D. It has a very nice lens on it (for the life of me i cant remember which it is). When it hit the ground, it hit lens first. she had a filter on it and so protected it from major damage, it still shoots great pictures. But when it hit the ground, the filter shattered, and the ring around the filter bent. now it is stuck on the lens and will not come off. I think that it may fit my 60D (i havent checked yet). i am wondering if i can get her to give it to me in return for my 18-135 mm (if it will fit the 30d), since it is mainly used by my dad (knows how to get it ti take pictures, and thats about it). i want to know if i could get it fixed. i will take pictures of it this weekend and post them here if needed.

Yeah mine feels solid, its mostly metal construction, I think only the hood is plastic. The weight is about the same as a 18-50 kit lens, focusing ring and aperture ring are smooth. No auto focus but you can adjust the aperture from the camera if you like or use the ring. Manual focus is not that big of a deal since at 6.5~8mm the DOF is practically infinite. I love the colors it produces even better than my Sigma lenses. I wouldn't hesitate on buying it if I had to do it all over again.
