yea, it really depends on how much you need to tow stuff, if you don't tow whats the reason to have a big truck ?

Cause it's a fucking Cummins. OP, I hear ya. I've done too much to warrant selling my truck. But if I had to go bigger, I'd scoop a 5.9 or a 6.7 in a heart beat. Best fucking engines out there. Period. Anyone who says otherwise doesn't know shit.

(I still heart my Taco though.) :)

I have owned 2 Ram 2500 Diesels.Great trucks for pulling and fuel efficient loaded or not.If you plan on going off road be sure to have a winch or another truck to pull you out.Very front heavy and will sink like a brick..

I love my taco but if I had an opportunity to own a cummins for an amazing price I would give up the Tacoma in a heartbeat.

ya i hear ya guys its a very hard decision. Because i could either keep my taco and pay it off. or buy the cummins and have it paid off. My taco has 86000 miles on it and this cummins has 71000 . I am so tossed on what to do. And all you guys talking about towing well to be honest i dont tow very often. All my family has diesels though so its kinda in my blood i dunno there is biased opinions one way or the other.

Well if you dont tow then there really isnt a reason to get a diesel. I just traded in my 05 F250 for my new tacoma because i left San Diego and sold all my motorcycles and couldnt be happier. I guess it depends on your needs for the truck. They are fun to have but a waiste of money. You will most likely get way worse fuel mileage not to mention pay more for fuel and once stuff starts breaking its way more exepensive to fix.

I don't think they are gay. You have to put hot chicks in their place. You can't always be pathetic and kiss their ass. Great video. They should make a whole series of smoking people. A priest, nun, school kids, crossing guards and hell even a cop, fireman, and ems

I own both and the tacoma is my daily driver. If you dont tow or haul anyhting why would you want to extra expense of a diesel. I know that they are fun and cool and I guess if you have the money then not really an issue. An 04 5.9 if driven problerly will not get horrible fuel mileage but you will be paying more for the fuel and if an auto you will need to plan on rebuilding it even if you stay bone stock. Also for oil changes will run over a $100 with fuel and oil filters. Also depending on how early of an 04 it is it might have brass ball seats in the injectors which will wear and be needing replaced. Dont take what I am saying the wrong why I am just trying to give you info about the truck so you can make the best decision for you. On a good note if money is not a problem then buy and let me know if you need any go fast goodies for it:D
