    can i go with from 265 75 16 to 285 70 16? with stock rims?

    i want to wider tires so my truck would like beefy! :)

    OME 3" lift with 885 coils. OME Shocks with TSB 1.5 AAL. 285/75/16 KM2s. XD Hoss 16" wheels. DDM Tuning 6000K HIDs, H10 6000K Fogs. BHLM. Debaged. 20% tint on front windows.
    The 285 is too wide for the stock rims, you will rub on the UCA. Get wheel spacers :)

    Is an inch wider worth all the trouble and expense? The 265/75-16 is already an inch taller than the stock size, and it fits without any mods... so that one is a no brainer. When you need more traction or floatation, just let some air out to widen the tread.
