They're 16" Eagle Alloys I got from Chris. Don't know much more about them other than that.lol Was up at Dave's today having them put on. With the Spidertrax, they're really pushed out from the truck (about 2-2.5" beyond the fenders) and seem to rub at anything more than half turned. Before I left, we tried taking off a spacer but the wheels than hit the caliper. Thought about maybe replacing the front studs with longer ones and putting on a 1/4" spacer to clear the caliper. Just trying to figure out some options. May end up having to put the stock steelies back on and sell the rims. These look great though so I'm trying to find another option that won't cost a fortune.

Have the Billies set at .85". May end up getting an AAL and cranking up the Billies. Wondering if that'll help with the rubbing. Will try jacking up the truck tomorrow to see if that'll solve the problem.

Only other concern is am I putting a ton of stress on the truck with the combination of the Spidertrax and the rim offset.

how badly does it rub the caliper? I know my friend has some 16" steelies on his taco and had to grind down the caliper to get them to clear.

still have the rear 5100s and aal if you want them

    on another note..

I took apart my tcase actuator today after reading on ttora that a lot of people have the same problem with the 4wd that I have, and they just clean out the actuator or replace it.

There was hardly any dirt in there.. not full of mud like i expected, but the yellow grease they used looks like its not a real good conductor so I wiped it all out, sprayed wd40 in there, then put good dielectric grease on everything, including the seal where the o ring is, and put it back together.
4wd works... for the time being...

It doesn't rub the caliper that bad but there doesn't seem to be that much wheel stud grabbed so I would probably need to go with longer studs

Still interested in the 5100's and aal. I was waiting for you to get back to me with a price...

I don't really want to start cutting nor do I want to end up paying for a new set of rims (got a good deal on these). I'll have to get down there tomorrow and see where I'm actually rubbing. I didn't have much time to look before I left the shop cause I was already getting yelled at for being late for going to the in-laws.lol On a better note, Jen said the truck looks more manly with the new rims and them sticking out. Definitely a lot lighter than the old steelies. Can't believe the accelleration I got back.

Has anyone ever used these 1/4" wheel spacers they have at Pep Boys? Without the Spidertrax, I'm just barely scraping the outside edge of the caliper. Looking at replacing the front studs with slightly longer ones and then putting on a 1/4" spacer. I see Wheeler's has one on their website too for this purpose. Let me know what you guys think.

Also, you guys running the TRD alloy rims, how much stud are you holding on by? The stock stud on my truck sticks out 7/8" and the wheel flange is 1/2" so I'll be holding on by 3/8" on the back wheels if I stick with the stock ones. Just curious what the stock alloys are running at?

I swapped out my 3rd member today to install the ARB rear locker. I didnt take any pictures because my hands were covered in diff fluid and anti sieze all day. also ran the air line to the engine bay... now just waiting for the compressor to get here.

Which is easier & more cost effective...

    1. installing an ARB rear locker.
    2. Swapping to a stock OR E-Locker.

    Just Curious.:D

for option 2 you would need to swap the whole axle.. from an 8.4" to an 8".
depending on price, it might be possible. Id rather have an ARB in there though.

    hmmmm......
