It's hard for me to avoid 1604 since I practically live on the side of it and it sucks I gott drop off my lil sis at school at 8 every morning and that traffic is so annoying, honestly most the time I pass people on the grass put the taco to work ! Haha

 

From where I live (sea world area) I take tezel to bandera and just take the access road all the way to school.

 

I go down 1560 to Bandera then take another left at 1560 take that to 1604 and I get on right at UTSA so right after I10 it's smooth

 

made some H-E-B digiorno wanna be pizza in the oven this morning for breakfast. Pepperoni

 

Serious...I thought I was pizza crazy..never done that.

nah man, I've been wanting to find a really good pizza place. Alteast better that any common pizza joint like pizza hut or dominos or the like.

a kick ass burger place too! No luck so far. Know of any?

 

There's a kennedys pizza by my house. Good deep dish pizza.

I decided to take off the tire swing out on my rear bumper, and put the stock spare back in it's original place.

she looks so plane jane now.

BUT, I got full use of my back up camera again!

It looked awesome earlier, the view from the sea world area looking north was AWESOME! cloudy and silent lightning storm, then came the wind from the north.
Picking up speed inbetween gusts, with the air getting cooler and cooler. Then the rain!

FINALLY there's rain!

How bad is your mileage now? Did your backend rise up any?

 

it was always between 16-17 mpgs. I could easily get 300 out of a tank but I've never pushed it that far. Usually when it's around a quarter tank left it's around 250-60 ish miles on the odometer. The tire swing out itself weighs about 40 lbs (didn't weigh it though), and the trucks rear didn't rise even a bit when I took it off. The dakars barely sagged when I put on the rear bumper, so I imagine that the tire swing out itself wasn't shit to the springs.

We shall see if it improves.

I really wanted to tape strips of paper or ribbon to the side of the spare tire that faces the tail gate when it was mounted on the swing out to see if there was a difference in "turbulence" with and with out it. Never got around to it though...

Now that I took it off I wish I would've done it.
