Actually its more like 500 but full time in Dec Jan and Feb where most of the miles are put on when its too cold to ride.

Wouldn't matter if I drove it 1200 miles a month. I am not going to sweat 2 MPG.. I have a Scanguage II and that tells me if something is amiss as well as the Garmin. They are both consistent. I don't drive hard. I just drive without worrying about how much fuel I'm using.
If I was getting 12MPG I would be concerned because there might be an issue. But I avg 17 MPG and that's great considering I don't drive with an eye towards better "fuel economy". I knew before I bought it what to expect and if I could afford the fuel. dammm My bike gets worse fuel mileage than many cars nowadays..:D

Your fault is assuming for some reason that people are whining about the mpg they get instead of simply discussing how to improve it.

You are the only one that thinks you aren't being a real dick here over the last few days, no one thinks you are making a positive contribution or accurate characterization of people that are interested in making the best of their mpg.

You can afford to buy a 4x4 to drive for a couple of months of snow each year, great we get that, you are awesome.

Your continued posting on this thread makes you look really lame.

And Why TF do I care what you or anyone here thinks of me? Guess what Sparky. I am not one of those people who lives and breathes by other's opinion of me especially on an internet forum.

This is not my life....like some. Just a place to find some humor, maybe an idea or two, and wonder why people care about 2 MPG. Its silly and That's my opinion on the subject for the 5th time...LOL . Deal with it or ignore my posts. See how easy that is? now go on with your "Fuelly" self and do some math.

    I haven't read all 35 pages.

    I have a 2007 Toyota Access-Cab 4x4 TRD Off-Road 4.0 V6.
I'm currently @ 22.5 in summer. The winter grade stuff kills my mileage @ 19.5.
If I run 100% gasoline with NO ethanol I can boost my mpg about 1-1.5 more mpg.
I run what ever is cheapest so it's almost all ways the lowest grade....

I'm 100% STOCK setup with the factory BFG 265/70/16 Rugged Trail tires.
Only other thing I have is a tool box with around 100-150 lbs in it.

Many people want to improve their mileage for the obvious reasons; save money, CO2 emissions, distance per tank, bragging rights, etc. But for me it's data, and I love data. If I can gather enough of it, I can figure out what driving style in my particular area gets me the best mileage and any number of other possibilities. Naturally I like saving money too, but getting hard data to back up what would be anecdotal otherwise is rewarding. I've felt "oh man, this fillup's gonna be terrible" but end up getting 21 MPG.

Why does it matter to you if we want to talk about our mileage experience?

    Rhetorical question.

There are many simple satisfactions in this life, we've found another that others haven't. The cost of gas means nothing to me, the miles I put in on the job more than fill my tank, but like you it's data and a challenge, and fun. :jerkoff: :D I also find it patriotic to use less gas.

Not to interrupt here but; can't we all just get along? Sometimes the best thing to say is nothing at all . if something offends you, ignore it, no need to get into a heated pissing contest. We can all contribute some great information here and thats what makes TW a great place!

then why do you constantly brag about paying cash for your truck... or brag about how you dont have to worry about silly gas prices. seems to me like you want everybody to think your well off...

we would ignore you but you keep coming back... and if you dont care about 20mpg on a v6 then why even open the thread?
