I just think its funny this poll separates catholics from christians... I'm not gonna read through 77 pages to see if anyone else noticed that.

And Ben ...I don't know any of these guys personally and it doesn't matter because Atheists don't need to gather once a week (or more...) to encourage ourselves to think we really are right and the magical nothing really does care about us.

Your statement, though I'm sure it was in jest, was just downright hypocritical.

Gotta say this beforehand, Ben is a stand up guy and I have nothing but respect for him as a person.

Ben and I have talked at length before and his final answer was "what was the first single celled organism?"

I don't know Ben, maybe Yeast. I'm not a scientist.

All I'm saying to the believers is that I don't have all the answers ... but neither do you. Science is not out to destroy your faith or dispel your god. Science ...is trying to find the answers the bible doesn't provide.

Sorry, "God did it" doesn't work for me. Glad it does for you.

Now shut up and order some products so I can have more work and less time to be on here, lol.

............I'm kidding. But no really, order some stuff. And stop arguing about stuff we can't agree on. You do yer thing, I'll do mine.

"If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything." Great quote Andrew, at least I stand for something.

Don't mean to be hypocritical, but for a lack of better words I was trying to express that I felt 'ganged' up on. But it's all good, didn't take anything personal :)

Thanks for the kind words, JC. Don't mean to argue either; sometimes I have difficulty getting my point across. Like i've said before, I'm not trying to convert anybody here just taking a stand for what I believe. I don't know any of you guys personally either, but you're all a cool bunch.

Or maybe I did meet you JC, DEMELLO chopped my cab mounts a few years ago :)

I honestly didn't read what was going on. I just liked that post because I'm an atheist. No hard feelings whatsoever. :)

And thank you, I really like that quote.

a.Yes, many have noticed that Catholics were seperated and we all realize they are Christians as well.
    b. I'm only joking and stiring it up. Some of us Christians have a sense of humor too. All the guys I joked with know me fairly well and I believe know my sense of humor. If that is not the case, my sincerest apologies if I offended anyone. I sense some humor at the end of your statement, maybe.
    c. Please quote said statement. And if you think it was in jest, and only a joke, how could it show that I'm a hypocrite?

Thank you JC. I have the utmost respect for you too and always enjoyed our level headed talks.

I believe my final answer was, "where did the first single cell organism come from." Correct me if I'm wrong.

And I can gaurantee that I NEVER said science was out to destroy my faith or dispel my God. I have said time and again that in my studies, science has actually helped to prove to me that the Bible, and my God is true and accurate.

And I sure wish I had the money to order your fine handywork for my rig. Since I don't have the money, and jabbering on here is free, I'll stay the course I'm on I suppose.

I think most of his statements were directed at me. But you can keep the mean ones.:p

We stand for something: science! :D And besides, if we fell for anything, wouldn't we be siding with you and Ben by now? ;)

Science? Most definitely stand for it. I'm getting a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing right now.
