Hey guys just want your opinion on some audio products and price. I'm thinking about buying this used audio setup which includes:

    1. Sony XNV-660BT with
    -ASWC steering wheel control
    -Tom-tom Navigation Module
    -GPS Antenna
    -Sony Back up camera
    -Bluetooth Mic
    -Instruction manuals
    -Plug and Play harnesses
    2. METRA Double Din Housing
    3. Kenwood XR-5S eXeclon 5 Channel 1200 Watt Amp
    4. Hybrid Audio Technologies Clarus C61-2
    5. Hybrid Audio Technologies Imagine I61-2
    6. Mr. Marv Speaker Adapters for speakers

All of the audio products have been used for less than a year and are in working order, he's selling them because he sold his 2010 Tacoma. The price I got negotiated with him is $950 shipped, what do you think is that a good deal and worth it?

    2. Complete "Plug and play harness" (No splicing required) including steering ASWC steering wheel controls. Soldered connections.

IDK anything about that head unit but everything else is good. $950 sounds like a steal.

Yeah I thought it was a steal myself, I wasn't planning on buying almost a whole stereo setup at once but it seems too good of a deal to pass on. As far as the head unit I heard mixed reviews but I've been searching Double Dins for awhile now and everyone I read had mixed reviews. The only thing I'm going to need to purchase is an amp kit and speaker wires and spend a whole lot of time installing it!

Kind of sucks cause I just had the inside of my truck pulled apart due to flooding it out/stuck at Wharton State Park (bad idea 2 days after Irene) but that's a whole other story, lol! At-least it fresh in my memory how to pull all the interior out.

After first I was pissed off but then I just dealt with it, once I got home and realized how dirty it was I park the truck for about a week and went to town on it. Pulled the carpet out and took it to get professionally cleaned and detailed the inside. I then figured what the hell so I clay bared the outside and then waxed the whole truck, it hadn't look this good since I first bought the truck. Well worth spending the time to clean the truck and I also learned how to take apart the whole inside of the truck so the stereo should be a breeze!

I think I'll agree with you on that about Wharton next time I'll just bring the mountain bike (that's all I have as of now), lol! I hope its legit too, everyone I have dealt with on Tacoma World has been great and honest so I'm hoping the same for this member.

My first problem is I can't be down a week without a truck
Second I don't have the energy or time to clean it up. Party lazy :(
I drove thru almost 3ft of water and got my carpet wet. I didn't pull anything out just dried the best I could, huge air freshener under seat and traded it in.
Oh and I lost a starter doing this. $150ish

It's a good unit, but I was checking out a much more expensive unit and kinda fell in love with it. Alpine something.

I'll make you a deal.. Headunit installed and the mud flaps for $800
