Different steering wheel shake question...

I have read all about people experiencing the dreaded SWS (steering wheel shake) either right off the lot, after rotating tires or after getting new ones put on. My question is this, how many of you have put new tires and NOT been given the dreaded SWS afterward? My truck does not have it currently but I am going to need new tires in the not too distant future and was wondering what my chances are the SWS will not be included in my purchase. Stupid question I know but I have a lot of stupid questions and figured I would start with this one. Thanks again in advance.....

I just did my truck list Sat.
2 tires were fine
2 had excessive road force. indexed the tire NP
I couldn't bring the other down to spec.
I had to replace it with 800 miles.
This truck is smooth......... Definitely the way it's suppose to be.
I knew i had a problem right off the lot.

tires are tires. some good some bad.
You take your chances with just about any purchase nowadays.

Make sure they road force the tires before they even put them on. lots of places don't do that. I road force all the tires i install. Saved a few headaches by doing it.

 

I appreciate you guys taking the time to reply. It sure seems like that shaking issue is part of the very fiber of these trucks. For the life of me I cannot understand why Toyota has not addressed this ongoing issue. Very unfortunate to say the least....
