I lead the beginning of Power Line Rd. and Matt took over. I told him to be careful because this road can be dangerous. He quickly found out how sneaky Power Line Rd. can be doing 60 mph through rocks and washes.

I was on a 2nd may trip and remember it like it was yesterday. Love that everyone still gets stuck in that sand section at the beginning. Power line road is a great time at 60-70mph and blowing sideways in my light truck. I'll try to do the april/may one in 2012. Had too many bills plus you guys were maxed out on a full sized group. Til this spring.

I bet you guys had a blast... freakin awesome pics..I mean really awesome... I have read a little about the mojave, but now I wanna do this...have family coming down from South Affrica next year July and I would really like for them to see how the Tacoma performs compared to the Hilux ...love the Tacoma, but it does not compare to the Hilux... Driven diesel hilux's all my life and they are work horses like you wouldn't believe... Driven them in Sudan as part of the African Union peace keeping force as well through the deserts and never had a problem.... just love the pics guys...envious..I wanna do this next year

No kidding, huh, James? I didn't expect it to be THAT cool. It was probably my favorite road out there; Just so much to it!

Hahaha Matt and I took about two hours per truck yesterday. I thought mine was bad but Matt's truck recreated the Mojave desert right before our eyes  We ended up using a cutting wheel to remove the thicker stuff (just kiddin :D)

    But all was fine

O and I'll be getting Martha's pics up soon. Just gotta sort through them. Martha ended up snapping over 600 pics that weekend so I of course I can't throw all of them up.

Yes i sure did:eek:! We were doing like 65MPH when a washout came out of nowhere and we were like oh S*@T. It wasnt as big as the one you hit, but it was exactly the same looking. Wow:eek: I couldnt believe we just hit that S@%T, was the only thing going through my mind at that moment.:D After checking the truck over, everything seemed to be intact and nothing was bent, so we went on.:D

I have no complaints as to how my truck performed out there. It was doing a great job with everything that was being thrown at it. Didnt get stuck this year:D:p Yay for that! Got back to onto pavement and it was tracking just fine. Alignment is still good. Cant believe the abuse these trucks take and just keep giving back.:D:cool:
