lol my garage doesn't fit anything but the mtn bike right now. My tacoma has lived outside its entire life sad to say so will the new truck. But...there are possiblities since I am moving next summer! :bananadance:
My04 Tundra crew cab, its very similiar size wise but more up to date. Thanks for the congrats mike!

Thank you funny I have a guy seriously interested now, he has come to look at it twice & tomorrow hopefully will eclipse the trade in price. I haven't signed anything but given a good faith $200 deposit over the phone. I did get seriously low trade offers from a couple of dealers who would not budge. Politely said no thanks & moved along. The fellas in Mass were absolutely above board & professional. No bashing and respectful. Not all of the salesmen were like that. I was surprised esp. with the economy. Will do on a complete review in the future!

    Thanks Kingfrog!

There are 2 in front of you will keep you in mind?

Thank you. Hopefully I can sweeten the deal and sell the truck outright tomorrow before I do the swap next week. Crossing fingers and toes!

For when you get the new Tundra
    :worthless:

And for the possible sale of some goodies!

How did the Wet Okoles hold up with Simon running around on them? I'm considering getting them for my lab. The last set I had were a cheaper neoprene cover and they only lasted a year before they ripped.

An ARE camper shell, a 1000w power inverter.
What confuses the hell at of me, is why so many people here trade in their trucks for basically the same truck.

(eta--) But you are getting a Tundra, so that's actually a good upgrade.

    No mods whatsoever!
First off, congrats on the new truck! I'm surprised no one picked yours up. Hopefully the looker will. I kept my '05 DC TRD and got a '10 Crewmax Platinum 4x4. It has the 5.7 though. You will love it! I love my Tacoma, but the Tundra rides like a Caddy. I'm also a member of TundraSoltions, but it doesn't seem as active as TW. Just ordered a TRD rear swaybar for the Tundra from TRDSparks (first mod). It's supposed to handle even better considering the weight of the Tundra. Tows real nice too!

Thanks, I loved my tacoma & would buy another. It is basically what I have driven since 87....with a tundra or two in between. :)

Thanks Susan! I ended up trading it which actually wasn't a bad thing. The other buyer had a 02 Tundra w/ a replaced frame & lived around the corner from me. Too close imo yada yada yada.
I practically stripped the truck of all mods except my aftermarket stereo & have done all right so far with more to list here soon when I stop working & can take pics.
Already I found a set of Rock Warrior rims & BFGs locally. Mods to begin. The day I bought the truck in Mass. :D
    [IMG]

    Thanks errr man! :D

    Your truck looks awesome!
I too have another car to drive (not a taco though!) & the 4.6 does pretty well snapping my head back so far.
Getting the 5.7 after driving the 4.0 3 hrs, I had trouble not lighting up the tires.
Will admit I was torn on the different engines but wanted the least expensive 4x4 truck w/ some creature comforts. The crew max looks better imo but none to be found not totally decked out & well above my price range. Maybe next time?
This was a good fit for me right now. :)

Also Acton Toyota in Littleton Mass was the bomb. I bought the truck using the USAA buying service, was able to negotiate, they took my trade at a fair price no bs, delivered & helped register it at my DMV. That is where they met me. The dealership itself was nothing I have ever experienced before, the cafeteria with awesome food, my sales guy Shawn was straight up. I would highly recommend them. It was worth the 3 hr drive.

Nice looking truck. I wish they had that color when i bought mine. I upgraded two years ago. My Tacoma struggled to tow my trailer, so I sold it and got a Tundra 4x4. The Tacoma was easier to park. With the 5.7, there is endless power on the road.

I love my Tundra, I installed Bilstein 5100 and BFG at's. I have no problem towing anything I own any more. The only bad thing the rear springs are not that strong, just like the Tacoma.

I towed this for a friend from California to Arizona.

Got a few dirty looks going down the road, but it worked.

I drove a 4.6 when I was buying mine, but I wanted certain options that were on the 5.7l (Tow Mirrors). After 2 years find reasons to drive places even though i don't have to go. I put 52k in two years. I still enjoy it today.
