i'd trade, the taco would hold its value better i think also - - but then again the dodge is probably a much more expensive truck. . . depends what kinda of driving you are doing.. towing?

I just sold my 5.9 Cummins. I hated the Truck lived the Motor. Dodges are junk. If your not towing heavy I would do it. If you tow a lot look for some one trading a Tundra.

I went from a 2003 DCLB dodge cummins 5.9L to a 05 SWB Access Cab Sprot tacoma, and honestly, it was the best trade I did. Now I have an 05 tacoma DCLB. My dad has an 08 cummins 6.7 with H&S delete and programmer, and intake and all that stuff. And the dodge is quick. I had the option of buying it before he sold it for payoff, and honestly, unless you tow the dodge is extremely expensive compared to the tacoma. I personally would do the trade, but IMO if your dodge is what you say it is, then IMO he should give you a little extra cash considering your dodge is a 45k dollar truck.....

I really like The Tacomas, I had a 1st gen V6 5 Speed 4x4 ex cab modded up pretty good And loved it, I miss it, such good trucks, but havent really been around these new ones, My buddy has one a 6 speed and I drove it and Loved it, way more faster than the 3.4's, just havent drove a 4.0 auto yet....

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
idk what the cost is on a 6spd but they have their drawbacks, i love the 5 speed in my 4 cylinder though, could not imagine driving an automatic, i have to have stick period.
