    I care about two things - killing bad guys and bringing my good guys home alive. DADT does not ban bays from the military, it simply avoids a complicated situation within a predominately male occupation that involves close quarters, high stress, and shared living accommodations.

    Dude, I honestly have no shit to give. They could've kept DADT. They got rid of it. I don't care because:

    - Not in the military.
    - Not gay.
    - Not gay in the military.

    What I do know is that any individual worried because of another individual's sexuality has some major self-confidence issues they need to get figured out. That applies to some service members. It doesn't apply to others. That's about all there is to say with any rationality.


    Or they're all buying shooooooooooes!!!1

    Who really cares fellas. Some of my good friends are gay (literally) and I could care less. If folks with homophobia think that by having homosexuals in the military is gonna magically convert the whole armed forces to being gay then they really need a reality check. When it comes down to it, and if I was in the military which I'm not, I could care less if old Lance Cpl. Jerry over there gets down with other dudes. If he's got a good head on his shoulders and has your back in a firefight then what does it matter. If there's no atheist in foxholes there there is no such thing as gays in foxholes either. Just saying.
