    I swear I have an 18 gallon tank, cause all my fill up have been up to 18 gallons. I tried to get it to go higher but the pump stops and wont budge....

    RTFM = Read The Fucking Manual

    the last 3-4 gallons are to keep the fuel pump cool. There are 18 useable gallons, but the tank holds 21. you can use all 21 but you run the risk of overheating the fuel pump

    Okay so if i have a 21 gallon tank, tell me why the pump stops at 18 gallons and it the fuel gauge says full :confused::confused::confused:

    just because the gauge is on E, doesn't mean it's empty. you can drive past that mark, wouldnt recommend it though. i think the light usually cuts on at 3-4 gallons left.

    I try not to get to E, i even hate it when the gas light is on haha
