Finally broke 21 mpgs. Got 21.2 after fill up today. Did a bit more highway driving this weekend, went on a fairly long drive for my step-daughters band competition but it was a hilly drive as we went through a small mountainous area towards N. GA. But not much stop and go. I'm pretty happy as I figured if I did more hwy driving I could get over 21.

I'm averaging 20.4 mpg, the best I've gotten is 24.1. I have a V6 access cab everything stock running 87 octane.

Missing My Last Tacoma --- Had 11 Toyota trucks in the past and many other Toyota cars too.
    .
My truck (V-6, TRD, 4x2, DC & stock BFG 265/70/16 tires @ 33 PSI) had about 5,000 miles when i recently left on a 1,000+ mile round trip (Atlanta to Wilmington, NC & back to Atlanta).

Got 22.2 with A/C on, royal purple oil, 92 octane, speed limits (55 to 70) and not driving like I had an egg on the gas pedal.

After maybe 10,000 or so, on a flat road in southern GA (doing 55 mph) ... I bet I could get 25 mpg with careful driving ...

12 DC auto 6cyl prerunner. With 90% hwy miles @ 65mph I get between 21-22 mpg. Currently on my third fillup , first tank was 17 mpg driving "break in" style. I am hoping it gets a bit better after the break in period. I am ok with the mpg so far considering that this truck runs like scalded dog if you stomp on the pedal. It is also a big improvement over my 4.6 v8 4x4dc tundra .... That thing couldn't get over 16 mpg over 55mph and was always hunting for the right gear on the highway.
