Ebay seems to have a large selection of LED Projector Headlights for about $150....are these worth it, or are they just trash? I like the looks and want to go in that direction...please advise

Just for looks. Light output will not be improved. If you get them, make sure you seal them up before you put them on the truck. Some people have had issues with Ebay headlights leaking or fogging up, a good seal can help prevent that from happening.

hard to say as they're aren't all made the same. Some might be good quality, while others poorly put together. I'd try to look at the sellers reviews and see what others have said about fitment and quality. Be advised many of the LED/Projector headlights do not use the OEM H4 bulb size and require wiring to be done for the LED/Halo to work.

I have some from ebay. Yes the output Is less than stock and i did have some logging problems, but i sealed them with silicone and all fixed. Look great, performs decently, plug n play. No regrets with mine. All personal preference man.

agree that the light output sucks and the seals are an issue...

make sure you reseal and go ahead and get an HID kit to put in the low beams

For $150, I wouldn't expect the light output to be anything to write home about...

If you want light output, retrofit the stock housings. All you really gain with Ebay headlights is the look. If that's all you're going for, can't go wrong for $150, just seal em up good!

The light patterns arnt very good compaired to stock. No horrible but noticably not as wide. The over all fit is good on the housings themselves, however. As stated above, be sure to reseal them with silicone so they don't fog up.

For the look of projectors styled like either Audi or BMW headlights.

Turn on the brights. Our brights are like daylight when you turn them on. I live out in deer country (see my thread from 2 years ago) so I use my brights a lot when driving in the dark around my house to keep watch for deer. IMO the tacomas have pretty good headlights to begin with. Not to mention the Silverstars I added made them a little brighter.
