    trim off your lines and put the nut and ferrell back on. When you put the line in the fitting, let it bottom out then pull it out just a little. Allow for the nut and ferrell to push the line in a little bit so it can crimpdown on the line. Also make sure you aren't bending the line to much right at the fittings.

    The line should only come out past the ferrell just a little.

    Thanks hoosier! That's ^ about what our plumbing adventures are like. The last time we just gave up and called a plumber. Then it took him about 4 tries to get it right.


    I hope that your test results are all a-ok Del! I think you must have gotten them by now?
