    your not going to get any power out of a tbs i dropped about $120 in one and its just a noise maker

    HA HA, I wish. Dude I put that code in twice, I know its right. Just dont know whats the acuracy of the X-Gauge. Heard from multiplpe threads it's accurate within give or take 10HP. My set up it sweet, but not that sweet. Then you got to figure, maybe it is, but I cant feel it cause of my 33's.

    I dont know, anyone in TW care to validate what X gauge is reading. And also, what is the conversion from Fly wheel to the tires, ie.. 236 HP stock @ FW, but most stock Tacos Dyno'd are at about say 205ish RWHP...

    Except that would be @ the wheels. S/C gives 75RWHP out the box.

    Im trying to get a somewhat idea of how much power is pushing at my Flywheel. But yeah,

    So if i have a TBS and a K&N CAI already installed, should I take off my TBS? I got them together as a deal and we used brackets to get them to fit. I got it used but for an incredibly low price. Would I gain by removing it, or should I just keep it?

    getting there....
    you can leave it on...aint gonna hurt anything. although....if you remove it, you could gain a small amout of power back if you initially lost any to begin with.

    I don't know if i lost or gained power because I put it on the first week i bought the truck and it wasn't broken in yet.
    Will I gain more pwer and gas mileage if I take it off? If there are only benefits in removing it, I will.

    Try a 1/2 tank with, and 1/2 w/o. do a mixture of driving and keep it equal.

    As far as power I believe Chris4x4 might have put some good info out about that. My bad if not, he always has a wealth of knowledge to share.

    That's kind of a lot of work... for me. I might just leave it on unless someone strongly recommends that I should take it off.

    you can leave it on. A TBS does nothing for the engine except make a wistle. The engine is engineered to have best performance with a laminar flow of air into the engine. The air becomes turbulant when its introduced into the combustion chamber, along with the fuel. These TBS's, cause turbulance in the air, only to have the air straghtened out as it moves thru the intake runners. TBS's work well on carburators, but not modern fuel injected vehicles. Personally, I would take it out, and use it for something else, like a paper weight, or the like.
