Sure, reducing rotating mass will help the engine rev faster but will it will also require a little more energy to sustain constant highway speeds?

I replaced my E36's clutch with a lightweight carbon fiber/Kevlar unit with a forged aluminum lightweight flywheel from Rogue Engineering and immediately noticed that it rev'd much faster but I also actually lost MPG! The car was quicker in gears 1-3 but was slower at 70-80mph passing. Overall I was very happy with my investment but I would like to know more about NST's approach.

    Oh Yeah!!!
Good to know. I wonder if this also pertains to electric fans. I've heard that was a good bang for your buck. Kind of lumped the Crank, and accesary pulleys into that same theory...

Someones got to have a dyno.

I am not sure about electric fans. You would think logically that removing the fan would free up horsepower. I did find a thread on it at TC.

    Lots baby!
I installed these on my x-runner and the big advantage other than the "bling" is the engine revs much quicker. I was bouncing off the rev limited before I knew it.

I no longer have graphite crank pulleys I only have red crank pulleys

So for those of you interested in the $305 deal can only get them in red.
