ARB hands down. E-lockers blow....literally....they blow up. Requires way more $$$ and parts then you would think.

If he was out with me he wouldn't of gotten swamped. I had Rex in Wharton last week pooping his pants as we crossed 30 yard long puddles.

We all got together and voted for a truck that actually wheels. This guys truck has never seen a trail. He had about every bolt on imaginable including a crane in the rear so he could get his spare tire on/off....lol. Total mall crawler:facepalm: Too bad cause some of us could actually use that gear for what it's made for. His tires, wheels, and skids had zero scratches. Oh and he had about 4-5" of lift on the same LCA's and UCA's as me. His CV's would explode if he actually engaged 4x4.

Timbrens are a total rip off IMO. Do what I did with any bump of equal softness (check out "Daystar") and you'll be fine as long as you fine tune the shims under the bump for your set up so the shocks don't bottom out and the tires don't hit the fenders. No need wasting hundreds of dollars.

The other issue is that everyone just assumes Timbrens are tuned to your truck. They aren't. Everyone runs different shocks and tires thus your bumps in the rear must be fine tuned to their needs. You can't just slap on Timbrens and assume they will be set up for your socks or tires.

^wow you're even admitting who you are? :spy:

Yea Joe led the group I was in at fj northeaster and he was way over cautious. He would get out and look at his cvs every 20 minutes and was kinda a pain to wheel with. We ended up ditching the group and wheeled with scott

It's kinda far and I'm not in a huge hurry. If you are going to beech creek bring them, if you aren't, maybe you could send them up with Boyd? How far are you from him?

He was super nice, but he was checking his CV's because I'm sure they were binding up. Like I said his CV angles are totally FUBAR.

I can't imagine the delivery charge for the stone would be worth:
4hrs driving + 2 tanks of gas just to get & return a trailer.
Then add the time and gas it takes you to make 10 runs back and forth to the quarry.
Then add the time and money to buy the plywood wood to modify the sides and back of the open trailer.
Not a very efficient way to save cash IMO.

You need to get it from the quarry the landscapers use and have them deliver it. Don't buy stone from the secondary buyer like a landscaper.

I got 9 tons of medium river rocks delivered for $400 cash.

You is correct I haz no hitch nor any trailer wiring on my rig.

Hey don't forget about me. I may be up there getting my steel wheels swapped back over. :pout: Starting to get a little concerned over corrosion and pitting of the polished aluminum with our salty winter roads. That coupled with having to replace all the studs, put in 1/4" spacers, and having to rig up the tpms sensors it's probably just not worth having them.

Dave, you got any special pricing for comebacks a week later?????
