Sounds like something is being lifted or lowered?

The last couple of days I notice when I am driving every so often I would hear a noise like a lifter or suspension is being adjusted. It's like when someone is lowering their hyrdo suspension, something like that. What would it be? I doubt it's a problem, I just wanna know what the noise is.

 

I get the exact same noise every morning just as I head out of my driveway , like an electrical servo

 

That's probably your VSC when you hit some bumps or dips in the road. Turn it off for a day and see if the noise goes away.

 

Mine's not .

VSC only engages above approx 35 mph , there is a repetitive beeping , and the brake pedal pulses similar to an ABS activation .

You know it when VSC engages

I had it a similar noise in my 2010 Golf and that was because the fuel pump was doing it's safety checks. Is it doing safety checks too?

 

yeah this happened a couple of days ago. freaked me out. beeping makes me paranoid.
