My dealer just called... wants me to "upgrade"

LOL You saw the same thing I did.. Paragraphs chock full of rationalizations....The cellphone one really had me laughing..oh and the you are "not going to get the same trade value next year as today".....Well that's a bug Duh!!

Don;t bother. When someone rationalizes a purchase to that extent their minds are already made up. Some people just don't realize EVERY single car and truck on the road is USED...to varying degrees but used and worth FAR less than new (especially ACV trade) nevertheless

 

Words to remember: "If its good for the dealer, how can it be good for you"

 

This is a classic switch and bait. The pic is of a TRD Sport but the info listed and backed by the VIN prove that it is just a regular SR5 with tow package. I hope the OP hasn't fel for this tactic.

I got my 2010 SR5 DC w/ tow package for $27500, so this truck is way over priced.

They gave me $22k for my trade in... WAS CONFUSED.

Truck is nice though Almost every add on is installed.

 

My dealer just called. He wants you to upgrade too.

Yeah I mean you should stick with your tacoma, I would, I got an email from my dealership ha, and I just started paying the one I got off!!

 

Something so simple as keyless entry... I never had it. It is so awesome.

Thought about it but declined. All of the land around here is owned by someone so there would be no real need. The only thing I'd use it for was launching my boat, but the boat launches we use are pretty good. It was also in black and i didn't want another black vehicle. This one is almost too dark Scratches

 

I got my 2WD DCSB Sport + tow pckg in black from the same stealership in the westbank for $26,500 3 months ago. After getting stuck in the spillway, i wish i would have gotten the 4x4...damn you new car smell...

I got that same call on Sunday. Tried selling me on the idea of trading in my 08 for a new 2012. I said NO THANKS! If for no other reason than i got the Illuminated 4X switch MOD!!! I'm still lovin it!
