My bachelor pad/townhouse...purchased at the start of August. Cookie-cutter type neighborhood and floorplans but I got to pick everything on the inside - cabinets, tile, carpet, paint, appliances, etc., all included in final sale price. Everyone is relatively close to my age in the neighborhood and likes to have a good time. Mortgage is only $40 more than what I was paying in rent plus 4.5% rate = no brainer.

Here is an older picture of the front of our place. Four bedroom and 2 1/2 bath just over 4000 square feet sitting on a half acre about 30 miles outside of Washington DC.

 

Definitely a step-down from the house I lived in with my ex, but I got it on the cheap(renting it now while waiting for the purchase to go through- its a short-sale):



There's a nice deck on the canal in the back- great for relaxing at end of day

 

Yeah those short sales are really "long sales" dont know why they are called short cause their not, but excited for you to get your own place again!

2900 square feet, with 3 car detached garage sitting on 2 acres. We have a nice run off pond in the front yard as well. The pictures are from the listing so they are a bit dated and not so much decoration. We also have some nice visitors

Our first house. Nothing special. Super old but nicely updated 2 bedroom. 1/2 acre lot so it's got a decent back yard. The osb on the deck is not a permanent fixture. Just left over from the new roof the day before the pic...

 

New siding and windows and roof. Trying to help economy!
