    Randy did it a couple years ago. FWIW, I believe this is the first confirmed second gen bob: AFAIK Nick's truck will be the first bobbed shortbed I'm aware of.

    Bobbing is an interesting idea, but I think if I were ready to modify my truck to that extent I'd just throw in the towel and go for a tube bed, get the body panels out of the picture entirely.

    I understand where you are coming from. But, I dont need all the bed space and would really like to stop hitting things all the time with the rear bumper, so I am getting Kevin to bob it for me and build a rear bumper.

    sounds good. if i had a 1st gen or older i would think about it. you going to the meet? may have a friend tagging along in his FJ that is 16.
