Oil Leak Help

This week while changing my oil I noticed the leak in the pic attached. I'm pretty sure it is the oil pan gasket, but just wanted y'alls opinion before I took it in. Thanks

 

That does look like oil pan. You can try bringing to the dealer or you can try tightening oil pan bolts to spec.

 

degrease area, tighten bolts a little and see if it comes back maybe

It's very little so don't overdo it. I want to say like 70-80 inch lbs on my corolla.

 

Clean the area, but try looking just above the p/s pump, our engines tend to leak from the timing cover and trail down to that area. If it is leaking, it is covered under the powertrain warr., i would gladly fix it if you were in orlando.

 

Looks like you have a 2010. Just bring it in and have the dealer look at it under warranty. Chances are they will drop the pan and replace the gasket anyway and put it back together to spec with zero cost or time wasted trouble shooting on your end.

I have a 2009 and there is no gasket only rtv.

 

Doh! I guess you drive the sh*t out of it.
That may be considered Powertrain which is 60K. Maybe they will be good guys and still cover it being so close. I know I have lucked out a few times with warranty work and being slightly past the maturity of it mileage wise.
