I have a metallic grey '09 double cab, and I want to get my windows tinted. I have the factory tint on the back 3 windows, but there is nothing on the front. I had a layer of 5% on my old truck and loved it, but I'm apprehensive to tint the windows on my taco that dark because they are quite a bit smaller than the windows in my old truck (F 150). What do yall suggest? I want to be able to see out, but I also don't want people to see in my front windows too well.

Mine are tinted 20%, they match the rears pretty well.

My 07 access cab that I just bought came with 5% on front with a 8 inch strip on the windshield. I got used to it in a couple of days (nights). It looks great, but I need to lighten it this weekend. The cops in this little town look for people to eff with. I'll either go with 20 or 35%.

5% all the way around with a 6 inch strip/visor across the windshield! Can see just fine, even at night! Took some getting used to, but wouldn't want it any lighter at all!

I tinted mine myself and put 20% all the way around on top of the factory tint. I wanted to go with 5% but like someone else said in this thread the cops in small towns just look for an excuse. I just snapped the brighter picture a minute ago with a camera phone so i aplogize

some of this, a little of that
I just had the shop match the front to the rears, so 20-30% I think. It is a perfect match and you cannot see in all that well.

    In cleaner days :p:

and from behind to show the match:

Just about every state has tint laws, but how many really enforce it! All mine are "illegal", but F it, it'll take my chance!
