He looked at mine and I asked him for an approximate quote and he said $300. That would be him blasting it in the am then powder in the PM so 1-2 day max turn around. All in house. Same for sliders. While it seems expensive, stripping and painting that crap twice a year blows. If I had the cash I would powder my front for sure. He has a good selection of colors and his wrinkle coat is very nice and super thick.

So are you saying I should get my elite bumper powder coated for $100 from Tim instead of rattle can when I get it? Front and rear?

Yea that seems worth it depending on how the powdercoat on my sliders holds up. I know the bumper will take way less abuse than the sliders of course.

as long as you find out how he plans to ship them. when I got my bumper from him it was just a bumper with a shipping sticker on it. what ever paint he had sprayed on it was completely f-ed so i had to strip the whole thing and start fresh.

You mean the LCA alignment bolts and such? I dont think my skids should be a problem.. just as long as you can easily get a wrench on there right?
I'll take a look tomorrow and see if they need to come off.
Hopefully driver side isnt seized :crosses fingers:

Scott since you seem to be a pro at greasing the alignment cams, how would you like to do that after we get alignments?

He says he bubble wraps it if it's powdercoated. I'm thinking maybe I'll do POR15 or bedliner so it holds up better than just rustoleum.

I'm only keeping tabs in here and the BC meet thread and shit for sale.

It's all 4x4's fault. He talked me into posting my finished DIY threads and like a rock to a crackhead I came running back.
